Prosecutors of the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office proved in court the guilt of a woman in state treason (part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

She was sentenced to 15 years of imprisonment with confiscation of property.

In November 2024, an employee of the Russian-controlled "Ministry of Internal Affairs of the DPR" established contact with a resident of Sloviansk and offered her cooperation. Despite the fact that her brother, who had previously provided him with military information, was detained and is now sentenced to 15 years behind bars, she agreed to confidential cooperation.

Under the instructions of her curator, the agent began conducting reconnaissance and sabotage activities in the city. In personal correspondence, the convicted confirmed the presence of equipment and the locations of facilities where the Defense Forces were based. She also inquired about the number of personnel and the locations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine units.

The illegal actions of the citizen were stopped, and she was detained in February 2025. At the request of the prosecutor's office, she awaited the court's verdict in custody.
