Under the public prosecution of the prosecutors of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Prosecutor's Office, the court found a resident of Luhansk region guilty of collaboration activities, as well as justifying, recognizing as legitimate, and denying the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine (Part 6 of Article 111-1, Part 3 of Article 436-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). She was sentenced to 12 years of imprisonment with confiscation of all property.

Prosecutors proved in court that the woman voluntarily collaborated with the enemy in the temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk region. In June 2022, she took the position of "Deputy Director for Print Media" at the enterprise "Luhanskmedia," which includes almost a dozen pro-Russian publications.

The convicted individual promoted and supported the policy of the aggressor state, created an exclusively positive image of its armed formations, and advanced the narratives of Russian propaganda, providing assistance to the occupiers in conducting subversive activities against Ukraine's information security.

The special pre-trial investigation was conducted by investigators of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Ivano-Frankivsk region.
