Russia has once again attacked peaceful regions of Ukraine. People have died, and there are injuries. Medical personnel and rescuers are working at the sites, while prosecutors, together with law enforcement, are documenting the consequences of the attacks and recording the war crimes of the Russian Federation under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Donetsk Region

At 22:50, Russian troops shelled the village of Cherkasky in the Kramatorsk district. The private sector was targeted by enemy drones "Geran-2". 

As a result of the strikes on residential buildings, a man and his 5-year-old son, as well as two of their neighbors, were killed. 

The mother of the deceased boy is in serious condition. The condition of her three minor daughters and the injured woman is assessed by doctors as moderate: they have been diagnosed with blast injuries, burns, and abrasions. At the time of the strikes, the victims were in their homes. 

Two households have been destroyed.

Dnipro Region

On the night of January 23, Russian troops attacked the Synelnykove district with drones. Two people were injured, and private houses and vehicles were damaged.

In the Kryvyi Rih district, infrastructure facilities were damaged as a result of drone strikes.

Kharkiv Region

During the night, Russian troops attacked the village of Velykyi Burluk in the Kupiansk district with a strike drone, presumably of the "Geran-2" type.

Houses were damaged. The injured man is receiving the necessary medical assistance.
